Copyblogger Book Club: Stay Creatively Productive (Even on Bad Days)

I don’t know if you have actually discovered, but keeping your creative confidence going is hard.

Our friend Austin Kleon has one of those creative practices we all envy– a robust, consistent work principles that’s settled in a New York Times bestselling book and the sort of audience that would be a “cult following” if it wasn’t so darned … substantial.

His most current book, Keep Going, is really good, and I was lucky sufficient to catch Austin at a book signing in April.

I understood Keep Going would be best for the Copyblogger book club.

The book isn’t about making the creative life easy.

” Everything got much better for me when I made peace with the fact that it might not ever get much easier. The world is insane. Innovative work is hard. Life is short and art is long.”– Austin Kleon, Keep Going

It has to do with … well, keeping going, even on the days when you ‘d much rather view all the Marvel films back to back so you’re prepared to see Endgame for the third time.

It’s simple (and complimentary) to join us.

How to sign up with the book club

We hold our book club conversations in our Facebook group, Killers and Poets

You require to answer 3 magic concerns before you get gain access to. Don’t fret– you won’t be graded on your answers. However having questions at the door helps us stay out the spammers and scammers.

You can get the book out of the library, or buy it wherever you like to purchase books.

If you want to discuss Austin’s other books, we are completely cool with that too.

Tag your posts with #bookclubkleon to make them a bit easier to find.

And if you ‘d like some more innovative recommendations from Austin, examine out his podcast interview with Kelton Reid: The Writer Files with Austin Kleon
