Daily High Club’s massive social media footprint began with absolutely nothing more than a concept and $700
In the start when I recognized conventional marketing outlets limited our industry, it was terrifying.
Amazing Content is king
No matter how expensive your video camera is, uninteresting photos will not drive traffic. Item photos can drive sales and memes can drive traffic through tags and shares – however you’ll have a homerun if you can do both well!
On 4/19, we made an incredibly low budget video ending with me getting circled by bikes and ninjas while I put cheetos on myself.
Make it genuine
Plainly visualize your item and usage organic backgrounds when possible. Audiences in this space are more critical. They desire a real-life connection versus obvious and excessively produced advertisements. Neighborhood is valued higher than corporations in the marijuana niche.
Don’t utilize words or phrases that protest Instagram guidelines. If you’re questioning whether you must utilize a word or not, be on the safe side.
Get in touch with your community
Usage memes that are relatable and ask concerns in your posts. You ‘d be surprised the discussions you’ll start! And that just drives more traffic and awareness to your brand name.
We do livestreams on Instagram a few times a month with our head of marketing Liz Whiting and Head of Brand Collaborations Ezra Sokobin. They straight get in touch with our audience, get real-time feedback and hang out with visitor influencers, brand names and even stars.
Post at peak times
Know your audience and when they’re active. You wouldn’t wish to post a high performing piece of content on off-hours. Smokers are up late and are not the type to pay much attention to a post at 6am on a Monday. Utilize your analytics to know when your audience is most engaged to make the most of your reach.
Work with appropriate influencers
Discover like-minded people that match your brand to help magnify your message and reach.
Let users generate content and got the word out for you
Utilize consumer content and motivate them to use hashtags.

Individuals don’t like a post filled with hashtags, it looks spammy. Rather use your hashtag naturally where individuals barely know it’s there.
Accompany your product posts with appropriate IG stories
Ensure you are not being spammy or too ad-like in your first story.
Be on top of holiday sales and events
The holidays are an emotional and high-traffic time. Associating your brand name with them in a positive light can stimulate feelings of happiness when they see your item.
